Gaudet, Mary
1918-2015
Mary Catherine Gaudet, 97, passed away on Friday August 28, 2015 at K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton. Born on August 25, 1918 in Newport, PEI, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Clara Ann (Murphy) Steele.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Claudette Sapp (George) of Halifax, NS; one sister, Clarice Flannery (late Jack) of Montreal; two grandchildren: Dr. Michelle Sapp (Iain McLeod) and Stephen Sapp (Vanessa Strike); three great-grandchildren: Bryn, Emma and Anikah; many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Roger Hazlett; her second husband, Dick Gaudet; her sisters and brothers: Hugh, Marion, Norbert, Ruth, Jacqueline, Frances, Ernest, Charles, Rickey and John.
By request, there will be no visitation. Funeral details will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
