Ron Morrison passed away on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Sydney and raised in North Sydney, he was the son of the late Alex and Agnes (Nicholson) Morrison.
He is survived by his companion of 26 years, Judy MacDonald; brothers, Alex (Elizabeth), Cornwallis, N.S., Peter (Evelyn), Kelowna, B.C., Paul (Susan), Coxheath and Alan, Ontario; sisters, Dorothy (Gordon) Blaikie and Mary (Lou) Bonnell, Coxheath; children, Loretta and Pauline and grandchildren, Vincent, Bianca, Cameron and Kaitlyn, all of Ontario.
Along with his parents, Ron was predeceased by his daughter, Anita and sister, Mildred.
Ron was employed by Superior Propane, both in Sydney and Truro for 29 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126 and a member of 102 wing RCAFA.
Cremation has taken place and burial was held on Friday, Aug. 29th at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Upper Lakeville.
