FULTON WADE, CHERYL LYNN - The passing of Cheryl Lynn Fulton Wade, of Douglas, NB, wife of Dr. Richard Wade, occurred on August 29, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 28, 1953 in North Minto, NB, she was a daughter of Marlene (Murray) Fulton and the late Amos Fulton.
In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by her step children, Amanda “Mandy” Wade (Carter McLaughlin) of Fredericton, NB, Ashley Wade of Fredericton, NB and Ryan Wade (Mhira “Miranda” Emilio) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Emelia ‟Emme” and Lily McLaughlin; sister, Gay Kukovica (Luke) of Guelph, ON; brother, Carson Fulton (Maureen “Mo” McMahon) of Middleton, WI; brother in law, David Wade (Astrid) of Fredericton, NB and their children, Lance Wade (Sarah Marie Hart) and Misty Wade Hovey (Tristan) and their children, Hudson and Hunter Wade Hovey; nephews, Jeffrey and Joseph Hartnell; great friends, Ed Johnston (Regis) of Estero, FL; her “sister” friends Pat W, Peggy B, Sandra S, Kathy W, Kathy B, Pam L, Mable M, Pam F, Blanche D, many cherished colleagues, and her canine companion, Banjo.
Besides her father, Cheryl was predeceased by her father and mother in law, Herb and Dorothy Wade.
Cheryl worked for 33 years in the New Brunswick Legislature as a Parliamentary Transcribing Editor of the House (Hansard) before retiring in 2013. Cheryl loved to cook, had a green thumb and loved to explore the world with the love of her life, Richard. Her little dog Banjo provided great therapy and comfort to her in the recent years.
Cheryl had a way of lighting up every room she entered, her smile was magnetic and she was always giving. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held from Douglas Baptist Church on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Fredericton Food Bank. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
