Dickinson, Keith Nelson
Keith Dickinson of Nackawic, NB passed away on August 31, 2015 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Keith was born at Woodstock, NB in 1955, a son of Shirley (Dore) Dickinson and the late Cecil Dickinson. He enjoyed playing and watching all sports, especially his Montreal Canadiens. Keith was an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting with his son Ben and his nephew Mike (Boots). Family was very important to Keith, especially family get-togethers. He was a devoted friend who went out of his way to help anyone out.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Lavigne) Dickinson; a son, Ben Dickinson (Katie), Calgary, AB; two granddaughters, Kayla and Emma; his mother, Shirley of Rossville, NB; his sisters, Audrey Jones, Nackawic, NB, Kathy Lavigne (Lorne), Fredericton, NB and Dianne Dickinson Schriver (Trevis), Rossville, NB; a brother, Robert Dickinson (Judy), Southampton, NB; his father-in-law, Don Lavigne (Lauza); several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in Helen’s family; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by infant twin sisters, Maxine and Marlene and by a brother-in-law, Sheldon Jones.
Although there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to attend a public funeral service at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Harold and Cheryl Reid officiating. Everyone is invited to a reception that will follow in the funeral home dining room. Interment at Lenentine Cemetery.
