She will be missed by her breakfast group at Sharon’s Restaurant, where she would meet daily with her friends, Deanne, Gerry, and Chrissy. Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Roni (Mike Noel) and their son, Beckett; brother, Frank (Sheila), PEI; David (Elaine), Pictou; sisters, Marlene (Bernie) Currie, Pictou; Judy (Allan) Hughes, MacLellan’s Brook; ten nieces and nephews along with six great nieces and nephews and a number of Roni’s friends that she thought of as her own. Besides her father, she was predeceased by grandparents, Dave & Kate Chaisson of Cape Breton and William & Mary Prosper of PEI and also a niece, Mary Patricia Chaisson. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday in the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Thursday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou.
