RICHARDSON, NORMA M.
Norma M. Richardson, 77, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late David and Bertha (Lauder) Arsenault.
Norma was a 1958 Graduate of The Moncton Hospital School of Nursing, spending several years fulfilling her dream of helping others. She was a former partner of Richardson Fuel and Richardson Electronics. Norma was a long time member of First Baptist Church, former member of The Moncton Kinettes Club, former member of the Women’s Probus Club of South East New Brunswick and former Board member for VON, with 35 years’ service, having served locally, provincially and nationally.
Besides her love for her husband George and her children, Norma was a ‘people person’ and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Norma will be sadly missed by her loving children, Ann Buck (David) of Beaver Bank, NS, John (Lauren) of Lower Sackville, NS, Susan Richardson (Peter Buxton) of Richmond, CA; precious grandchildren, Micheal, Lily and Emily; many cousins and close friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George (April 2012) and one sister, Marilyn Budd.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate Norma’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Delbert Bannister officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
In Norma’s memory, donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
