YEADON, FRANCES HELEN (MOORE)
Helen Yeadon, 86, of Halifax died on September 2, 2015. Born in Moncton, N.B. she was the daughter of Miles and Alice (Hovey) Moore.
Helen moved to Halifax in 1956 with her husband Gerry, then to Dartmouth in 1962 where she lived for many years and finally to Clayton Park for the past 23 years. Helen enjoyed golf, fishing, sewing and spending time with her family and her many friends.
She is survived by daughters Nancy Yeadon (Jim Dale), Guelph, Ont. and Cynthia Tompkins (Keiren), Halifax; grandchildren Julie Cooney (Jeremy) and Andrew Bremner (Maxine) both of Guelph; Andrea Tompkins (Jason Harnish) and Liam Tompkins both of Halifax; great-grandchildren Joshua and Avery Cooney and Felix Harnish.
Helen was predeceased by husband Gerry Yeadon and brother Donald Moore.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12 from 2 to 4 at Grace Chapel, 255 Ross St., Halifax.
