MacARTHUR, MARY - Mary MacArthur, 75, of Woodstock NB passed away on Wednesday, September 02, 2015 at the Carleton Manor Nursing Home Woodstock NB. Mary was born in Cape Breton NS on July 29, 1940 daughter of the late Bernard and Margaret (MacMullin) Collins.
Mary is survived by her Children, Michele Boyd (Karl), Woodstock NB, Barbara MacArthur (Dan DeBow) and a beloved grandson, Jakob Alexander DeBow, sisters, Catherine (Gordie), Florence (Cyril), Gertie, Anna, Bernice, Vera (Vernon), Julie Margie (Tommy), Pat (Kevin) and Eileen, her brothers, Donald (Cathy) and Michael (Lucina), sister-in-law, Anna Kehoe, brothers-in-law, Roddy MacArthur (Judy) and John MacArthur.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Alexander (Sandy), a sister, Mona, brothers, Joe and Bernard, brothers in law, Frank, Ian, Joe, Donald (Boo), Raymond and a sister-in law Shirley.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB on Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 4 PM to 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 11AM from St Gertrude’s Roman Catholic Church with Fr. John Keoughan. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, The Carleton Manor or to the Carleton County Animal Shelter.
