Terrence “Terry” Rushton, 66 of North River, formally of Five Islands, has joined past family and friends who have gone before him.
Terry was employed with Crossley Carpets for 37 Years. He enjoyed Hockey, Baseball and Golf. He will be forever missed at many local rinks and ballfields. He was a member as well as Steward and past Steward in the United Church as well as a member of the Five Islands Fire Brigade for 20 years. His greatest enjoyment was seeing his children and grandchildren succeed in their endeavors. He enjoyed helping others whenever there was a need.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Debbie (Lockhart); son, Patrick of Debert; daughters, Becky (Shaun) of Londonderry and Tammy (Alfred) of Bass River; grandsons, Aaron and Bryan; granddaughter, Josie; brothers, Michael, Timmy and Chris; sisters, Sharon (Alton) and Anna. As well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister in law, Linda; nephew, Jody and brother in law, Dale.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 6th from 6-8pm with Funeral Service on Monday, September 7th at 2pm all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro. Rev. Anne Hoganson, officiating. Reception to follow in Londonderry Community Hall. Family flowers only.
