CHASE, EVERETT ERNEST
It is with sadness that the family of Everett Chase of Bocabec, formerly of Upper Durham, NB, announces his death at the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday, September 7th, 2015 at the age of 55. Born in Upper Durham, NB, on November 17th, 1959, he was the son of the late Ernest and Leona (Sweeney) Chase.
Everett leaves behind his siblings, Michael Chase (Gerry) of Ottawa, ON, Ivan Chase of Fredericton, NB, Debbie Chase (Louie) of Ottawa, ON, and Juliette Chase of Marysville, NB; his caretaker of 33 years, Brenda Garrish (Gerry) of Bocabec, NB; Brenda's family, Sandra, Barry and Doreen; several aunts, uncles and other extended family; half-sister, Sharon (Paul) of Nashwaak Village, NB.
In addition to his parents, Ernest and Leona, Everett was predeceased by his grandparents, including special grandmother, Pearl Sweeney, and several of his aunts and uncles.
Everett was a medal winning competitor in the Special Olympics. He also enjoyed attending a special workshop every year.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place at Upper Durham Memorial Church on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at 2 pm with Rev. Dr. Terry Atkinson officiating. Interment will be in Upper Durham Cemetery.
