CROSBY, Charles Lawrence “Chucky” – age 45 of Deerfield, passed away unexpectedly in Cape Forchu, Yarmouth Co., on September 12, 2015. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son to Gladys (Davis) Crosby and the late Jack Crosby of Yarmouth. Chucky was a loving son, husband, brother, father, and friend to all who knew him. He was a supervisor at JHS Fishproducts Canada Ltd. in Tusket, and in his spare time was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt, fish, camp, and bike. He is survived by his loving wife Darlene (Sabean) Crosby; mother, Gladys Crosby; son, Josh Harrison; brothers, Mark (Ann) Crosby; Alan (Darlene) Crosby; Larry Crosby; Raymond (Holly) Crosby; David (Kathy) Crosby; sisters, Penny Crosby; Gail (Freeman) Dugas; Brenda (Mike) Dunham; Darlene (Allan) Dugas; Debbie (Warren) Gavel, as well as many nephews, nieces and cousins, all residing in Yarmouth and area. Chucky was predeceased by his father Jack Crosby and his sister Velda Doucette as well as his niece Stephanie. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. from Sweeny's, Pastor Kevin Myers officiated. After the service, there was refreshments served from 3 to 5 at the South Ohio Community Hall. Interment will take place at a later date. Family flowers only please.
