LeFAVE, Mary Grace – age 89, Hubbard’s Point, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2015 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 15, 1926 in Tusket, she was a daughter of the late J. Lawrence and M. Julia (Muise) Thibeau. Grace was a homemaker and she enjoyed puzzles and playing cards. She is survived by daughters, Louise, Clare; Margaret (Junior) and Theresa (Leslie, deceased), both of Hubbard’s Point; an estranged son, Thomas, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Karen, Sandra, Dean, Tanya, Raymond, Monica (Adam) and Betty; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, John (Dora) Thibeau, Paul (Rosemarie) Thibeau, Arthur Thibeau, George (Leona) Thibeau; sisters, Jeanette Giles, Alice Romaine (Vic), Margaret and Carolene (Martin) MacNamara. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Charles L. LeBlanc, as well as by her second husband, Lawrence J. LeFave; a son, Michael in infancy; grandchildren, Blair and Bruce; brothers, Harvey and Joe Thibeau. In accordance with Grace’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there was no visitation. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, September 17 at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Father Albeni d’Entremont officiated. Interment followed in Saint Anne’s Parish Cemetery, Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau. Memorial donations may be made to the Tri-County site of the VON.
