Green, Esther “Pearl” – age 94, Central Onslow, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on September 15, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Massachusetts, March 10, 1921, she was the only child of the late Fred and Belle (Baker) Cameron. She is survived by sons, Lawson “Sonny” at home; Carl, Masstown; daughter, Diane (John) Fisher, Central Onslow; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Lawson; son, Roy; infant daughter, Ruth Frances. At Pearl’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral. Pearl has requested a private burial in Robie Street Cemetery with immediate family only on Friday, September 18, 2015. Donations in her memory may be made to the Colchester SPCA or a charity of your personal choice.
