It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nina Selina Foote of Grand Bank announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are son Roy (Marilyn) of Fortune, and daughter Sheila (Rex) of Nova Scotia, grandchildren Trina (Terry), Michael (Lisa), Danielle (Ryan), Rob (Gabrielle), and Justin; great-grandchildren Brandon, Brady, Alicia and Samantha; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, George, daughter Marilyn and two grandsons Steven and Scott Suttis. A private family service was conducted by Major Phyllis Blundell-Colbourne, & Captain Reid Colbourne at Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Thursday September 10,2015 at 2:00 PM. Music was provided by Tom Cumben. Inurnment followed at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank. Nina’s Family would like to thank the Management and staff of Luxury States for helping her feel comfortable and at home for the past few years. A sincere thank you to the nurses and doctors of the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center for their care, knowledge and compassion during this past week. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
