THEBEAU, EMILE JOSEPH
With great sadness, the family of Emile Joseph Thebeau, husband of Lea (Marie), announces his peaceful passing on September 20th, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Emile was born in 1928 in Acadieville, New Brunswick, the son of the late Marguerite (Richard) and Luc Thebeau.
Emile worked for the majority of his career at CPR. He was a well-loved gentleman who always put his family first. Emile loved to travel to Florida with his wife Lea along with visiting his family in Acadieville. He showed a keen interest in antique cars.
Emile was a very gentle and caring man who always showed interest in others and enjoyed spending time with his special elderly friends at the Kingsway Care Center, he will be missed by all of those he has come to know.
Emile is remembered with love by his wife Lea of 63 years and children; John (Suzanne) of Quispamsis, Robert (Denise) of Saint John, Diane (Bill) of Grand-Bay Westfield, Maurise of Saint John and Sue (Jeff) of Quispamsis. He is also remembered by his brother Armond of Moncton and grandchildren; Leah, Krista, Jillian, Samantha, Michael and Rebecca, great-grandchildren; Michael, Sarah, Sydney, Blake and Camden.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his grandson Scott, brothers Edgar, Antoine, Adelard, Albert and Francois.
Emile will be resting at the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 171 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis on Wednesday, September 23 at 10:00 am. The interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Memorial donations in memory of Emile may be placed towards a charity of your choice.
