McCulloch, Doris Ruth (Murray), age 93, of Debert, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who cared for and loved us all as we loved her. Born in Bible Hill NS on January 15, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Stella (Hamilton) Murray. She was predeceased by her husband , Thomas Elmer McCulloch at the age of 33 in 1957. She raised three children, sons, Robert, Debert; Thomas Lee (Bev) and daughter, Audrey (Wayne) McLeod, all of East Mines NS; also survived by sisters, Helen (Peter) King, Toronto, and Eileen Kendall, Ottawa; five grandchildren, Pamela (Paul) Daniec, Baseline Road, Londonderry, Matthew McLeod, East Mines, Brandon (Suzanne) McCulloch, East Mines, Joshua (Colleen) McCulloch, Folly Lake, Desiree (Ryan) McCulloch, Masstown; seven great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Maya, Drew, Autumn, Lily, Jase, and Bennett. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Aubrey and Herman Murray. She was a member of the Debert Baptist Church. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Murray, Jennifer and the Nursing Staff of the VON. Visitation will be held 1- 2 pm Tuesday, September 22, in the Debert Baptist Church, with a graveside service and interment to follow in the Plains Road Cemetery in Debert, Rev.
