The death occurred at the Community Care Home, Kensington, on Saturday, September 19, 2015, of Freda Cahill, of Summerside, aged 102 years. Born in Belmont, Lot 16, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (MacPhee) Winchester. Survived by her daughter Jane (Ron) LeBlanc, Pleasantville, NS; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers Austin (Mary) and George “Meddie” Winchester; and by sisters Georgie MacArthur, Mae Waite and Edna MacInnis. Predeceased by her husband Donald Cahill; common-law husband James Morrison; children Ethel Rioux, John Cahill and Ruth Gallant; brothers Preston, Robert and Lea Winchester. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
