Passed peacefully away at the Calder Health Centre in Burgeo on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, Millie Dawe age 90 years. Predeceased by husband Wilfred Dawe, and son John Dawe. Leaving to mourn, brother Eph Matthews in Burin (predeceased by sister-in-law Ruth), sister Mary Miller and brother-in-law Eugene in Maryland, brother Edgar Matthews and sister-in-law Ruth in St. John's, sister-in-law Ethel Sullivan in Pouch Cove, daughter-in-law Marilyn Dawe in St. John's and grandson Jonathan Dawe in St. John's. Remembered lovingly by nieces, nephews, close relatives and numerous friends. Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28 at 2 pm at St. John the Evangelist Church in Burgeo. Donations in Millie's memory can be made to St. John the Evangelist Church in Burgeo or to a charity of one's choice.
