The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I., on Friday, September 25, 2015 of Johannes Coenraad "Conrad" Plomp of Lower Bedeque, P.E.I., aged 86 years.
Conrad was born in the Netherlands to his late parents Johannes and Johanna (nee Bakker) Plomp.
Beloved husband of Reintje "Reina" (nee Idzinga) Plomp and loving father to Anna (Dean) MacDonald, Summerside, Elizabeth (Pierre) Tranquille, Montreal, Quebec, John (Jeanette) Plomp, Hunter River, and Edwin (Joselyn), Truro, N.S. Also lovingly remembered by his 5 grandchildren: Daniel, Matthew, Christina, Christopher and Caitlin. Survived by his brother, Hans (Barbara) Plomp, Amherst, N.S., and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Conrad was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Hank, Janny, Joop and Beppie.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request there will be no funeral service held, visiting hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m.
