Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, September 24, 2015, the death occurred of Fred Dunsford of Mermaid, age 56 years. He was a son of the late Stewart and Jessie (nee McAulay) Dunsford.
Fred is survived by his daughters Tara (Tyler Fagan) McLaine and Jamie Harding; son Taylor Pinkham; grandson Henry Wilmont; brother Allan Dunsford; sister Tracey Kurugia; aunt Dot Gillette; special friend Debbie McLaine; good friend Wanda Henry; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Shane Dunsford.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Mt. Ryan Cemetery, Johnston’s River. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 6-9 p.m.
Donations in memory of Fred may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Unit or Canadian Cancer Society.
