Pauline Despres, 71, of Girouardville, Bouctouche passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Friday September 25, 2015. She was married to Herb Despres. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late James and the late Sophie (Nowlan) Carroll.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Herb, her three children; Dianne Despres of Dieppe, Lynn Despres of Bedford, NS and Paul (Joanne) of Bouctouche and her grandson James (Isabelle). She also leaves to mourn five sisters; Mary Gautreau, Murielle Brison (Emery) of Moncton, Bernice Bastarache (Gerard) of Mississauga, ON, Joanne Cormier (Henri) and Phyllis LeBlanc (Guy) of Bouctouche, her two brothers; Ralph and Kenneth of Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces.
Pauline was predeceased by her sister Helen and two brothers, Cecil and Joseph.
At Pauline’s request there will be no visitations at the funeral home and no funeral service. Family will receive family and friends at the Despres home, 189 Girouardville Rd., Bouctouche on Tuesday September 29, 2015 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm.
