SHOREY, DELMA P.
1933 - 2015
Delma Pauline Shorey of Moncton passed away on September 26, 2015 at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital. She was born on August 24, 1933 in Oakland NB and was the daughter of Herbert and Eva Crockett.
Delma is survived by Eldon Shorey, her loving husband of 65 years, sons Norman (Lori), Terry (Betty) and daughter Debbie (Aubrey) Morrell, 10 grand children, 12 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and a sister Angelina Kinney of Oakland, NB.
Delma was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Eva Crockett, brother Wendell Crockett and sister Crystal Cummings.
Prior to her retirement Delma was a successful agent for RBC Insurance for 22 years and recognized for outstanding performance across Canada. Delma’s passion in life was her family. She enjoyed staying connected with family and friends on facebook, by phone and with many visits. Her pastimes included her involvement at Moncton Wesleyan’s senior group and going for her morning drive with the love of her life, Eldon.
Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Tuesday, September 29th from 2 to 4:00, 7 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev Dr. L D Buckingham officiating. Interment will be in the Windsor Cemetery.
