On September 26, 2015, mama finally went home to be with daddy. Dorothy Isabel Sutherland (Gray) - 80 , passed away with her family by her side.
Born in Pictou, but lived her life in Hodson, the way she wanted with kids, birds, and dogs. She was predeceased by husband, Auldie; her mom and dad, Dick and Jessie Gray; and eight siblings. Dorothy is survived by brother and sister, Geraldine and Roy. Her world revolved around her four children, Marge; Annabel; Roddy; and Faith. She was also loved by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. There will be no funeral or flowers, cremation has taken as per mama's wishes.
A gathering of the flock and friends will take place at the Pictou Legion, downstairs on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, from 2-4 PM. Mama's requests were that she wanted old stories, lots of laughs, and no tears of sadness. Please come casual. Arrangements are under the direction of McLaren Funeral Service, Pictou.
