The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, September 28, 2015, of Wanda Cannon, of Summerside, aged 74 years. Born in Alberton, she was the daughter of the late Lorne and Margaret (Ramsay) Fraser. Survived by her partner Elmer Gallant; children Arthur (Jennifer) Fraser, Colleen Cannon, Nelson (Laura), Rodney (Donna) and Tanya (Scott) Haslam; grandchildren Courtney, Ashley, Nathan, Emma, Devan, Kyle, Morgan, Chantel, Jordan, Dallas, Brittany, Brook-Lynn, Aiden and Shailee; great-grandchildren Brody, Austyn and Gwen; sisters Faith (Wayne) Gallant and Sheila Perry; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Arthur Cannon; sons Joseph Arthur and Joseph Todd; sisters Lorraine Hippenstall and Verna Perry and by a brother Winston “Bud” Fraser. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6–9 p.m. Memorial donations to Prince County Addiction Services would be appreciated.
