REID, GORDON
Gordon Reid of Somerset Park, Saint John, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1948 in Joggins, NS he was the son of the late James and Sophie Reid.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Wayne, sisters Sheila and Betty and canine companion Buttercup.
He is survived by his partner of 30 years William Matheson; brothers Jimmy Reid (Carmel) and Pete Reid (Bernadette); sisters Stella Gabriel (Elmore), Jeanette Potter (Calvin), Terry Pettigrew and Laurie Reid; canine companion Happy; and several nieces and nephews.
By Gordon’s request, there will be no visitations or funeral service.
For those who wish remembrances in memory of Gordon may be made to the SPCA Animal Rescue.
