BISHOP, STEPHEN FRANK
1941 - 2015
Stephen Frank Bishop, 74, of Dieppe, and formerly of Bartibog, NB, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Bath, NB, he was the son of the late Robert and the late Elizabeth (née: Davidson) Bishop.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Bishop was employed by UPM. He enjoyed farming and fishing and especially working on his antique car “1953 Hudson”.
He is survived by his wife, Odette (née: Leger); two daughters: Elizabeth (Nanda) and Linda (Jon); three sons: Raymond, Stephen Jr. (April) and Carmen (Nicole); four sisters: Ruth (Charlie), Judy (late Doug), Jessie (Dan) and Viota (David); three brothers: Bryce (Della), Lance (Linda) and Rance; 11 grandchildren: Josh, Emma, Ethan, Hunter, Rayne, Jeremy, Courtney, Jordan, Kyle, Lauren and Jonathan, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Carole (née: Connell); one sister, Diane and also by one brother, Allen.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until time of departure. A mass of Christian burial will be held from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at 11 am.
