POIRIER, CÉLESTINA "TINA"
1919 - 2015
Célestina “Tina” Poirier, 96, formerly of Katherine Avenue, Moncton, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Drew Nursing Home, Sackville. Born on March 16, 1919 in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late François and Anna (Léger) Vautour.
She is survived by one sister, Viola Dupuis of Moncton; one brother, Camille Vautour (Roseanna) of Grande-Digue; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Clorice Arsenault; her second husband, Louis Poirier; two sisters: Maria and Thérèse; four brothers: Ernest, Gérard, Cléophas and Lionel.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the staff of Drew Nursing Home for their excellent care provided to Tina.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday from 10 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 858 Mountain Road, Moncton on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
