Elaine Laurette Fisher (nee Lamontagne) September 30,1931, age 83 of Swift Current, SK passed away on September 29, 2015 at Cypress Regional Hospital. The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5th from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Prince Kurisinkal officiating. The eulogy readers were Dale Fisher and Shirley Dafoe. The ushers were Curtis Fisher and Dalton Fisher. The pallbearers were David Fisher, Kirk Fisher, Chad Dafoe, Kerri Chicoine, Tyson Fisher and Devan Fisher. The interment service will be held at a later date. Elaine is survived by her children, Melvin (Maxine) Fisher and their children, Darlene, David and Steve; Fred's children, Kirk, Kent and Kassidy; Shirley (Cecil) Dafoe and their children, Becky, Nicole, Trisha and Chad; Dale (Brenda) Fisher and their children, Kerri, Jamie and Samantha; Les (Trudy) Fisher and their children, Janice, Tyson and Jason; Kelly (Julie) Fisher and their children, Devan and Chanda; Perry (Heather) Fisher and their children, Curtis and Carol; Terry (Carmen) Fisher and their children, Dalton and Ryan; and Susan Fisher and Charlotte Sinclair (Reece) and 28 great-grandchildren, her sisters, Florence Fisher and Dora Lamontagne, sisters-in-law Jean Lamontagne, Thelma Fisher and brother-in-law Bud Fisher, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Norman, her infant daughter, Darlene, her son, Fred, and her brothers Adrian Lamontagne and Lawrence Lamontagne.
