Passed peacefully away at the U. S. Memorial Health Care Centre, St. Lawrence, NL, on Sunday, Oct. 04th, 2015, HUGHIE WILLIAM HOBEY, of Marystown, NL, in his 77th year. Leaving to mourn his loving sons Gerard Spencer (Erin), Marystown, Michael Spencer, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a large circle of relatives and friends.

Hughie was a long time taxi driver with Radio Cabs, Marystown.

Hughie is predeceased by his wife Kathleen, son Eugene, and granddaughter Melanie Spencer and his brothers and sisters.

Father Jose Joker C. Bustalino conducted the Funeral Service at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Tuesday, Oct. 06th, 2015 at 10:00 am. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown.

In Hughie’s memory, donations may be made to the family.

Pall bearers were his grandchildren Joshua Hodder and Eugene Spencer, as well as Radio Cabs taxi drivers Tim Murray, Isaac Fitzpatrick, Clyde Anstey, Eric Rose and Joe Power.
