It is with heartfelt sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Jean Boutilier on Oct. 5, 2015 at the Glace Bay Hospital, with loving family at her side.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late George and Alice MacLean.
Jean was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Port Caledonia.
Jean is survived by son, Kirk; daughter-in-law, Jeannie; grandsons, Brandon, Brent (Gracia), Andrew (Tracey) and Willie; sisters, Harriett and Joan; brothers, Richie and Wilson; great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Jimmy; son, Warren; brother, Kenny; sister, Norma and daughter-in-law, Brenda.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. at St Luke’s Anglican Church, Port Caledonia with Rev. Myrna MacMullin officiating.
Donations in Jean’s memory may be made to Cape Breton Cancer Center.
