ARSENAULT, BERTHA (MARTIN) - 1927 - 2015 - Bertha Arsenault, of Rogersville, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 88.
Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Alexandre and Mary Jane (Richard) Martin. She was a member of St Francois-de-Sales Roman Catholic Church.
She will be sadly missed by her five daughters Sylvia (Ronald Maillet) of Montreal, QB, Francine Morais of Elliot Lake, ON, Irene Doucette of Gray Road, Alice (Alphonse Doucette) of Rogersville, and Rachael (Alphonse Doucette) of Collette; four sons Alfred (Alphonsine) of Rogersville, Paul (Marie) of Rexton, Vincent (Monique) of Rogersville, and Yvon (Bella) of Saint John; one brother Eddy Martin (Emma) of Rogersville; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Fernand, two sisters Anita and Ida, and four brothers Damien, Alfred, Alsime, and Leo.
The family will receive relatives and friends from St Francois-de-Sales Roman Catholic Church, Rogersville, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 9, 2015, at 11 am, from St Francois-de-Sales Roman Catholic Church, with Father Doris LaPlante officiating.
