NEILL, CAROLYN MARIE
The family of Carolyn Marie Neill, daughter of the late Harry and Phoebe McFee, announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, October 8th, 2015. Marie, as she was known, was born in Fredericton on May 31st, 1921.
Marie grew up in Fredericton and graduated from Fredericton High School. She met Frank and they were married on April 1, 1940. For many years they worked side by side in the insurance industry. Marie was an active member of several local Baptist Churches over her lifetime and sang in the choir at all of them. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Society at Grace Memorial Baptist Church for many years.
Marie was predeceased by her parents; husband, Frank Neill (1978); daughter, Carolyn Sinclair; brothers, Hymie and Eric McFee; and sisters, Margery Stillwell and Doris Nicholson.
Marie is survived by her son, Brian Neill (Maureen); sister, Helen Ball; brother, Hubert McFee; grandchildren, Jamie Sinclair, Pamela Begovich (John), Patricia Steeves (Jason) and Margaret Neill Burk (Dana); their mother, Marti-Lou Neill; great grandchildren, Madeline, Benjamin, Patrick and Isobel Steeves and Ella and Avery Burk; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at Grace Memorial United Baptist Church on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Peter Lohnes officiating.
