Marg Morrison
Mary Marguerite “Marg” Morrison, 75, of Union Centre, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, with her family at her side.
Born in Westville, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (MacLaughlin) MacEachern.
She enjoyed music, doing crosswords, sudokus, and had a strong Catholic faith. Most of all she enjoyed being with her family, especially seeing her grandchildren.
Marg will be dearly missed by her husband of 57 years Joseph “Joe”; son Joe (Theresa), Linacy; daughters, Louise Crockett (Doug), Stellarton; Carol MacGee (Dave), River John; and Faye Marie Hammond (Mark), Brantford, Ont.; Dolorosa Chalmers (Russell), Union Centre and Linda Lee Hodgson (David), Union Centre; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters Dolorosa Morrison, Union Centre and Carol MacDonald, Edmonton; brother Wayne, Edmonton.
Marg was predeceased by an infant son John James “Jackie”; and grand-daughter Jennifer Patricia Chalmers; sisters Helene Boyce, Loretta Martin, and Brenda Martin, brothers William, Vernon, Roddie, Norbert, John, and Donald MacEachern.
Visitations will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday from the Church of the Holy Name, Westville with Father Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. www.eaglesfuneralhome.ca
