HARRIS, EDWARD (TED)
Edward (Ted) Harris passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on October 8th, 2015, at the age of 95, surrounded by family. Ted is predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Vonnie, his son Jim Harris, and grandson James Harris.

Ted is survived by his son Jack (Connie) Harris; grandchildren Michelle (Corey) Larsen, Angela (Vilo) Pierre Louise, Natalie Harris, Anne (Stephen) Ateyo, David Harris and Crystal (Trevor). Ted will also be missed by 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Ted was an amazing, kind, honest and hardworking man who led an even better life. Travelling from England, Scotland, Wales, Newfoundland, and to the Rockies, he enjoyed life to the fullest, making friends everywhere he went. He worked hard on his own farm in Maugerville and worked at Base Gagetown as a Stationary Engineer for 29 years.

Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Monday, October 12, 2015, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 11:00 am with Fr. Antonio Reyes as celebrant. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery following the mass with a reception to follow. For those who wish, donations in Ted’s memory can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
