BREEN, PAUL MARVIN
With great sadness, the family wishes to announce the passing of Paul Breen at home on October 11, 2015 with loved ones around him. Paul was born in Saint John, NB, on May 9, 1939 to the late Frances (McGrattan) and Melvin Breen.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Theresa Breen (Golden nee Harris), children; William Knox, CarolAnn (Tony) Phillips, Paul Jr. (Nancy) Breen, and Arthur (Stacey) Breen; step-children; Ryan (Kate) Golden, Jennifer Golden; 11 grandkids, 12 great-grandkids, four step-grandkids, siblings; Tom (late Alice), Patrick (Jean), Margaret (Frank), Kathryn (John), Eleanor (Bob), Ann (Rodney), sister-in-law Kim; as well as his in-laws Keith and Helen Harris, Carolyn Carr, Richard Harris, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is pre-deceased by a brother Joey Breen and brother-in-law Ralph Harris.

Paul served in the Canadian Forces, and then retired from the Fredericton Fire Department after 25 years. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 004. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing and spending summers at Lake George.

Visitations will take place at Sunbury Funeral Home in Central Blissville NB on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral Service will be at St Columba Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 14 at 2pm with Father Donald Breen officiating. Interment will be in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Association and the Canadian Legion or a charity of donor’s choice.
