It is with deep sadness that the family of Jeana Mae English announces her passing on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the age of 13 years.
Jeana was born on February 20, 2002 in New Glasgow.
Jeana will be forever remembered by parents, Donald & Jillian (Nicholson); big sister, Amelia; grandparents, James & Beth Nicholson; and David & Bernice English; great grandmother, Ruby MacKinnon. As well, Jeana will be sadly missed by her next-door family, Uncle Andrew and Rachelle; cousins, Reese and Borden Nicholson. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends will fondly remember her.
Quiet in nature, Jeana was a shining star in all she did. Her varied passions included highland dance, soccer, swimming, curling, sewing, and fiddle. Jeana enjoyed spending time with her close-knit group of friends, especially best friend, Nina.
She loved Disney, math, crafting, shopping and even the Toronto Maple Leafs.
A service to remember Jeana will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Pictou at 2 p.m. with Jacquie Ross officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements are under the direction of McLaren Funeral Service, Pictou.
