Billy Works
New Glasgow - William Cyril “Billy” Works of Jarvis Street, New Glasgow passed away on Sunday October 11th, 2015 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Stellarton he was a son of the late Albert and Roseanne (Jordan) Works.
Billy was a long time resident of New Glasgow.
He was a former employee of the Aberdeen Hospital from where he retired.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Billy was fond of animals especially his cat.
Surviving are a son David of Stellarton; granddaughters, Angela and Lori Works; grandsons, Raymond and Calvin Roddick; sisters, Audrey Coady, Theresa Works and Joan Best, all of Stellarton and a brother-in-law Fred (Marion) Bonvie of New Glasgow.
Billy was predeceased by his wife the former Florence Bonvie; a daughter Judy Roddick; a son Billy Works; sisters, June and Chris, and a nephew Mike Bonvie.
By request of the deceased there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Donations in memory of Billy may be made to the Pictou County S.P.C.A.
