It is with sad and loving hearts that we announce the passing of Capt. Terry W. Oake. He made his final departure in the comfort of his home on October 15, 2015 with his family by his side. Predeceased by his brother Darryl, Terry leaves behind a large circle of family and friends to remember him with love. His wife of 40 years, Pat, son Brad and wife Gretchen of Gander, son Philip and partner Meghan of Pasadena, his most cherished treasure, his only grandchild Jaxon, and his four-legged sidekick, Crosbie. Terry's parents, Rev. Norman Wesley Oake and Myrtle of Gander, sisters Sandra and husband Austin Ryan of St. Jones Within, and Sherry of Winnipeg, MB and brother Dana of St. Thomas, ON. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander Friday Evening, October 16th 7:00 - 9:00 PM, Saturday 2:00 - 4:30 PM and 6:30 - 9:00 PM. A Service celebrating Terry's life will be held on Sunday, October 18th at 1:00 PM at St. Martins Anglican Church Hall.
