It is with great sadness that the family of the late John "Jack" Neville announce his peaceful passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the age of 76 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Barbara (nee O'Brien); son Warren Neville (Carla May); daughter Jacqueline Griffin (Carl); grandsons: Christian, Adam and Thomas Griffin, and Lucas Neville; two sisters: Patricia McNeil and Cathy Neville, as well as a large circle of extended family, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, numerous friends and acquaintances. He was predeceased by his daughter Maria (Sept 1974); parents William and Catherine Neville; brother William "Bill" Neville; parents-in-law Stanley and Clara O'Brien; sister-in-law Eileen (O'Brien) White and brothers-in-law: Arthur White, Ken Walt, and Robert "Bob" McNeil. In keeping with Jack's wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday from 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Ave. with Father Terry Boland officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Friends are invited back to Jack's second home - "Dad's Garage" at Neville's Road following the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery for refreshments and snacks with Jack's circle of family. A special thank you to Dr. Atallah, Dr. Lafferty, Dr. Dunne, Dr. Morrisey, and all of the nursing staff at Western Memorial Hospital of 4AB, 3B and Palliative Care. Thank you to the various disciplines for their kindness and patience which worked with Jack at WMRH (Physio, Occupational Therapy, Dietary, and Social Work). Many thanks to Country Haven Funeral Home for the support they provided in aiding our family for preparation and services.
