It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Walsh announce her passing on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her seven children: Wally (Theresa), Randy (Gay), Sean (Marie), Juanita (Sandra), Darryl (Tina), Michelle (Robert) Kennedy and Barry (Pauline); 16 grandchildren: Jason, Stephen, Jordon, Cassandra, Brandon, Robert, Amy, Ryan, Chantel, Monica, Christopher, Michael, Jenna, Natalie, Kathleen and Michael; three great-grandchildren: Colby, Claire and Reed; brothers: John Rose, Gerald Rose, Clem (Linda) Rose, Cyril (Helen) Rose and Billy (Denise) Rose; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bess Mackenzie, Steve (Vera) Walsh, Kate (Max) Roberts, Sadie (Heber) Maynard, Elizabeth Walsh, Helen Walsh and Ruby Walsh; as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Jeremiah and Sarah Rose, husband Wallace, sister Vera Hart; sister-in-law Joyce Rose and brothers-in-law Lorne, Tom and Jim Walsh. Granting her wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to renovations at Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena, the family will be receiving friends from St. David of Wales Anglican Church, Dawe Place, Pasadena on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Terry Boland officiating. The interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Church Street. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
