Passed peacefully with his family by his side, Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Sydney Myers of Mount Albion, age 80 years.
Beloved husband of Louise Myers (nee Jenkins), loving father of Richard Myers (Bonnie), Heather Myers, Sally MacKenzie (Ray), Mark Myers (Paula) and Tim Myers (Peggy Jo). Sydney will be lovingly remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sons - Philip and Allen Myers, parents - John and Bessie (nee Jenkins) Myers, brother - William Myers, sisters - Thelma Ferguson, Johena Matthews and Marion Horton; and brothers-in-law - Omar Ferguson and Dave Horton.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Wednesday, October 21, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Interment will follow at the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
