It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Anastasia Meaney announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the age of 82 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Patricia (Eddy) Roche, Jacqueline (Mark) Bizjak, and Kimberly (Chuan) Meaney; sons: Winston (Pauline) Bartlett, Peter Meaney, Fred Meaney, Gordon (Janice) Meaney, and Sean (Amanda) Meaney, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. Cremation will take place on Thursday. The Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1 p.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel with Father Terry Boland officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
