Totten, Marjorie Ann – 83, Truro passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 20, 2015 in Wynn Park Villa, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Eunice McNutt. Marjorie worked at Stanfield’s Ltd. for 35 years. She loved to sing, dance and play bingo. She enjoyed life and was kind hearted to all. She battled Alzheimers for the last 11 years, eight of which were spent at Wynn Park Villa. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at East Unit in Wynn Park for their kindness and special care. They are truly angels and were her second family. She is survived by daughters, Brenda (Dennis) Kelly, Valerie (Greg Duncan) Rector, Debbie (Glen), all of Truro; son, Wayne, Toronto; sisters, Shirley Elliott, Truro, Mary McNutt, St. Catherines, ON; brothers, John, London, ON, Gordon, Truro; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband, William; son, David; brothers, Alfred, Donald. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 2-4 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Family committal in Robie Street Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Nova Scotia or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
