Rita Vautour, 73, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Wednesday, October 21st, 2015, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Dover, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alban and the late Marie-Anne (née: Bourgeois) Gauvin.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother, enjoyed gardening and was a member of Saint-Anselme Parish, Dieppe, NB.
She is survived by her husband, Leo; two daughters: Nancy (Pierre) Vautour-Niles of Dieppe and Lise (Robby) LeBlanc of Memramcook; one son, Ronald (Donna) of Dieppe; two sisters: Odette (late Henry) Bourgeois of New Hampshire and Rosina (Aimé) Belliveau of Lakeside; five brothers: Francis (Doris) Gauvin of Barachois, Normand Gauvin of Moncton, Paul (late Marguerite) Gauvin and Leo (Dorine) Gauvin, both of Dieppe and Leonard (Jeannita) Gauvin of Mass; five grandchildren: Josée, Isabelle, Mathieu, Anik and Alex, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Jeannine and also by three brothers: Omer, Fidèle and Aldorie.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Friday from 7 to 9 pm, ONLY. A celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at 10 am.
