John Ambrose Tremblett

Passed on: October 19th, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Ambrose Tremblett of Bell Island announce his peaceful passing on Monday, October 19th, 2015 at the Health Sciences Centre in his 84th year. Predeceased by his wife Gwendolyn (1992), parents William and Mary Tremblett, brothers Walter and William, sister Ann Tremblett, sisters-in-law Lillian Kavanagh and Loretta Decker. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of treasured memories are his children Wayne (Barbara), Marilyn (Keith), and Allison (Frank), grandchildren Wayne (Heather) and Ashley (Shane), great grandchildren Ryan, Liam, and soon to be baby Connor, sisters Margaret, and Helen (Rick), nieces and nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends. John was a hard working and loving Father, Husband, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and Brother who will be dearly missed. Besides spending time with his family, whom he adored with all of his heart, he loved his social life which included trips to the Avalon Mall a few times a week where he would spend time talking to those he knew and meeting new people along the way. He very much enjoyed his independence and would take the bus all around town to go to his appointments and run errands. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of 5 South B, Health Science Centre who took care of him in his final weeks. Cremation has taken place with the service and burial to be announced at a later date. Donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Those special memories of you will always bring a smile if only we could have you back for only a little while. Then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do. You always meant so very much and always will too. The fact that you're no longer here will always cause us pain but you're forever in our hearts...until we meet again.
