CARR, SHARON G.
The family of Sharon Gertrude (Stevenson) Carr sadly announce her passing on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Sharon was 72. Born in Fredericton on June 21, 1943 she was the only daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Friars) Stevenson.
Prior to her retirement, Sharon was employed with Beaver Foods as a cook and for many years worked at Fredericton High School Cafeteria.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 51 years, George T. Carr of Fredericton; a daughter, Corine Wilkins (Alfred) of Fredericton and sons, Daren Carr and Michael Carr both of Fredericton; six grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren; also a brother Brian Stevenson (Chloe) of Burtts Corner, NB; nieces and nephews.
Her parents and a granddaughter, MacKenzie Carr predeceased her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton and Sharon’s request for no visitation or service will be respected. Interment will be private.
