McMULLEN, ROSALEEN
Rosaleen McMullen of Nackawic, NB passed away on October 21, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in 1940 at Belfast, Northern Ireland, a daughter of the late James and Josephine McDermott.
Rosaleen loved bingo, knitting and cooking. A devoted wife and mum who enjoyed spending time with family and leisure time at Brenda and Merlin’s cottage by the ocean.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Brendan McMullen; two daughters, Brenda Brown (Merlin), Moncton, NB and Cathy McMullen, Fredericton, NB; three sons, Jim McMullen, Davidson Lake, NB, Paul McMullen (Judy White), Fredericton, NB and Sean McMullen, Hamilton, ON; six grandchildren, Kathleen, Jesse, Sarah and Brendan McMullen and Conor and Liam Brown; two great-granddaughters, Kaya and Joy; one sister, Theresa Brannigon (Tommy), Ireland; a sister-in-law, Sue Miller, Ireland and a brother-in-law, Ernie McMullen, Ireland; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, James, Frank, Desmond, Teddy, Brian, Moira, Vera and Cathryn.
Although there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to attend a funeral service at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 2 pm. A reception will follow.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Rosaleen, the family has suggested the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation (ICU Unit).
