Williams, Daisy Mae, 94 – Truro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 21, 2015 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Sydney she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Beatrice (Paris) Jackson. Daisy had a great love for her Heavenly Father, Jehovah and a great love for her family and for people and especially for all the children who she encouraged at every opportunity. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Truro. She loved watching golf and her favourite baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays. She is survived by her daughter, Lois (William) Melanson and her son, Ronald “Butch” (Veronica) both of Truro; grandchildren, Colin (Christina), Stalin, Joshua, Sarah (Christopher), Evan (Cheyenne), Jenna (Cory); great grandchildren, Mya, Nathanial and Lochlan; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Francis Williams; sister, Eva Maxwell; brothers, Thomas, Norman, William and Lloyd. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m., all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Colin Maharajh officiating. Private family burial will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Truro or to a charity of choice.
