PAUL, JOHN "JACK" E.
The passing of John "Jack" E. Paul of St. Mary's First Nation, NB occurred on Friday October 23, 2015 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was 83. Born in St. John, NB, he was the only child of the late Peter and Mary (Giggey) Paul.
He served with the Canadian Armed Forces, Artilliary Division overseas in Germany, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch #4.
Jack travelled and worked in food consessions with the King Reid Shows and the Bill Lynch Shows. In the winter months he drove tractor trailers in New York. Jack was an avid card player and loved playing 45's with his comrades at the Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Darlene; son Troy F. Paul (Tammy) of Fredericton; three grandchildren Troy E. Paul, Albany T.A. Paul, and Latham T. Paul; brother-in-law Richard St. Dennis; sister-in-law Joyce Ryan; nephew Robert St. Dennis (Gina); a niece Debbie Longtin (Randy) and three great nephews Christopher, Matthew and Tyler all of Troy, New York; several cousins.
He was also predeceased by a nephew Richard John St. Dennis.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, NB on Tuesday October 27th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at which time a funeral mass will be held in the funeral home chapel with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will be held at St. Anthony’s Cemetery at a later date.
