Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015, Leonie (Nee-Smith) Genge, age 81. Predeceased by her husband Preston Genge. Left to mourn with loving memories are her son Tim (Trudy) of Gander; daughters Patricia Pritchett (Roderick) of Gander, Debra Cooper (Glenn) of Richmond, BC; brothers Hubert Smith (Leona) of Moncton, NB, Ken Smith (Beverly) of Prince George, BC, Mac Smith of English Harbour West; sisters Nellie Vivian of Gander, Florence Barrett of Gander, Winnie Bell (Bob) of Gatineau, Que; grandchildren Andrew, Danielle, Shannon, Joshua and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on Monday, October 26th from 2-9 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 27th at 2 P.M. from St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral, Gander. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leonie's memory may be made to St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral or the Gander and Area SPCA.
